The guy who started it all...."Willie B".
We normally go to the Zoo in the morning and leave by early afternoon. Today we waited until it got warmer and went in the afternoon. We got to go to the gorilla feeding and it was our favorite part of the day.
"Taz" is the Silverback male that is the dad to all the baby gorillas. He sat there and caught over 15 orange slices without dropping any. I teased Colton and told him that Taz was catching better than he did in baseball practice yesterday.
These are two of the young ones. Possibly the twins, Kali and Kazi but it is hard to tell. They would look up and clap or beat their chests to get the trainers to throw the fruit down from the roof of the building.
I'm sure everyone knows that Mei lan was sent to China. This is another success story, her little brother Xi-lan. He is currently being weaned from his mom and was happy and cute today playing alone.
