We've been driving all over the place since Wednesday but Grams was still stuck because of two big hills and a lot of shade. They finally came and salted the road today and I put my car in 4 wheel drive and went VERY Slowly down the hill and made it to her house. (This after being sent on an adventure to pick up special chicken feed for her chickens. The story isn't as funny in the retelling so I won't but suffice to say that it's never a simple errand when Grams is involved. Note - picking up the puppy in the rain a few posts back.) ANYWAY, We had the brilliant idea of letting the boys slide on cushions on the ice. I also slid and my Mom wouldn't stop taking pictures and laughing at me. Luckily she's a better farmer and Grams than a photographer so no pictures of me sliding, falling and yelling at her will be on this blog. It was all fun until someone got hurt and of course it was Colton. He's fine but he face planted and wasn't too thrilled with the whole sliding idea after that and neither was the Mom. He ended up with some red marks on his face and nose that he hopes are gone before Tuesday. Here are some fun pictures before the unfortunate incident.
