This was our first cross country meet so we didn't know exactly what to expect. After a two hour rain delay Colton's team was off around the 2 mile course. He qualified for "A" team which means he actually ran on the 5th grade team. We checked his score against all the 4th grade boys and he would have come in 4th which is pretty cool. There were several Elementary Schools in this meet and Colton's 5th grade Cross Country team won 1st place!! He ran the two hilly, muddy miles in 13:30 which isn't bad for his first time.

| What you can't see here is that Cayden is running on the outside of ropes, racing Colton and there was NO WAY Colton was going to let Cayden beat him. Very funny and it really gave Colton that last burst of speed at the end. |
