Greece Day for Colton's Class.....

What a fun day we had on Friday!  I worked in Colton's class until just before lunch time with their complete immersion into all things about Greece.  We had food, Olympic games, they made sandals and head wear and learned about the government among other things.  Very cool way to get these kids excited about learning.  The kids also wore "Togas" Our big dilemma was that Colton always wears Georgia clothes on Fridays in the Fall.  Mom to the rescue!  Everyone loved his version of a toga.

 

 

The most fun part of the day was the Olympics.  As you can only imagine, Colton definitely got into that AND was slightly competitive.  The funniest event was the "horse and chariot".  One kid pulled another that was sitting on this small platform on wheels.  Colton NEVER looked back to make sure his buddy was on the platform.  He just ran like crazy, slinging the kid all over the place.  We were all cracking up laughing at him.
