The boys LOVE feeding the parakeets. We have a cockatiel at home but they still love the challenge of getting close to the loose birds. Grams did too!

The kids were out of school on Friday and surprise surprise we went to the Zoo...
It was a beautiful fall day and it's so nice to be out in the fresh air seeing all the animals. Grams went with us and we all enjoyed the day. There is always something new and we really enjoyed the "Naked Mole Rat" babies and seeing the "Joey" in the Mama Kangeroo's pouch. He was upside down, face first inside so the boys thought it was pretty funny that we just saw his back legs and tail.
