Cayden started in on me about going to Rita's as soon as he woke up and I held him off until after lunchtime. He reminded me that he HEARD me tell him during the game that if he made an out at first base that I would take him to Rita's. He then reminded me that he ACTUALLY (his word) made TWO OUTS.
Thursday was a beautiful day and we sat outside and Cayden enjoyed his Mango and "Peep" flavored Italian Ice. The "Peep" flavor tasted remarkably like the Easter, yellow, marsh mellow peeps that you see everywhere this time of year. The next night he wanted to make another "deal" but I told him he just needed to play great baseball and not worry about going to Rita's. So funny.
