The COLOR RUN!!!!

Cayden and I ran in a 5K race around Piedmont Park this morning called "The Color Run".  Everyone starts with white t-shirts and they throw this powder paint on you at different places during the race.  Cayden was sooooo much fun and did an awesome job.  They sent people off in 1000 person waves from 9am to 10am so you can imagine how many people.  We were in the very first wave of people to go and we had a lot of fun before the race with all the music and several beach balls being thrown around.  We ran the first mile non-stop but as we came into the first "Color Station" we had to slow down because of the backup of everyone.  Then we ran again but Cayden wanted to walk (quickly) up some of the hills so we alternated running and walking if there was an incline.  The first color station was yellow, the next one was pink, then green, and then purple.  At the end everyone had packs of paint that they would throw at each other.  So much fun.  We did the race in about 47 minutes which is not fast by any standard but the people walking it all went over an hour and we were happy to be among the first wave to get to the finish line.  One cool thing was that I had a friend running (Ca'Chen) and SOMEHOW she found us at the starting line.  Amazing especially when you see the thousands of people that were there...All wearing white.  Here are A TON of pictures.
