What we've been doing....

Swimming practice every morning at 8:30am, Swim meets every Thursday evening, baseball most evenings, library programs and summer reading, and trying to fit in some fun with friends and of course pool time here at the house.

 Bella came over to swim and hang out.  They always have fun together.

 

Cayden has his own reading goals this summer but he always likes to have Colton read to him. Now he reads along with him.  Colton's summer goal was 30 hours of reading (Cayden's is 20 hours).  Colton read 10 hours in a WEEK!  We may have to change that goal.  They have been getting little prizes for accomplishing different objectives at the library.  Don't make it a competition unless you want my boys to be ALL OVER it.   Yesterday one of the things we had to do was to all read together silently.  LOVE THAT ONE!  Who ever added that to the list had to be a Mom.  Cayden is also writing in a journal every morning.  I almost have to wait until he leaves the room to read it because it cracks me up.  He doesn't want any direction on what to write about.  He just comes up with stuff.  So cute.  So that is what we've been doing.  The swimming and baseball have us very busy with some down time in the middle of the day. Looking forward to our visit with Auntie Marie and Auntie Kay next week!!
